Awards and the Last Days of Summer …
Greetings to all Ashland Barracudas Fans!!!
I hope all are enjoying the final days of summer … lingering in the thoughts of a summer well spent … rest … relaxation … and SWIMMING!
Now that I have gotten through the “ice breaker” (yes … my head is already in the fall and winter season, anticipating the cooler and cold weather that will be heading our way …) I wanted to take a moment to toot the proverbial horn about our coaches.
You may not know it, but this year our coaches won the “Coaches Award” AGAIN at Champs. How cool is that???? Majorly cool!!!
Anyway … Kevin, Alan, Jenny, and Tim; WE LOVE YOU! Thanks again for making this an incredible season!
Welcome to Tom Grant as our new President, and thanks again to Veronica Wiles as she will be enjoying her post-presidential era.
Out for awhile …
Christian C. Wiles

Go Yellow T Shirt Order Information
GRAL has designated the final dual meet as Go Yellow Night to raise money and awareness for cancer research. Go Yellow T shirts will be available for the July 20 swim meet with Mechanicsville. We are joining forces with Mechanicsville, Hanover Country Club, and Battlefield Green for a countywide effort to raise money for cancer research! All profits from the shirts will be donated to the Massey Cancer Center. The cost of the yellow T shirts will be $13, and the deadline for ordering will be July 14. Families received pictures of the prints through email.
Shirts can be ordered online at the following site:
https://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?formkey=dHN0a19qZUMtYS0xY3lUVFZ0ZElMaUE6MQ

Please note: ordering shirts is a 2 step process… placing the order online and paying at the pool.
Shirts will be available at the meet on July 20.
